Easy to use and Fast¶
Auto Smear V3 simulates fast, up to 10-15x faster than V2. Many situations will be real time depending on hardware and scene context. The addon and geometry nodes groups also come with simple settings (though on the full smear you can use an 'advanced' settings option) understandable by anyone and with good defaults. For many situations only a couple of settings will need to be changed.
Matches the scene perfectly¶
Auto Smear V3 has smears that will match the color of the base color texture of your model and duplicates that copy your model's shaders by default. You can also render the smears as a mesh instead of grease pencil for more control over the final look if you would like.
What render engines can I use?
Auto Smear V3 works with Cycles and Eevee, though it is designed with stylized renders in mind which makes it more suitable for Eevee most of the time.
